Tarot Card -The Tower #XVI Meaning
The classic meaning of this card is that of a sudden strike or big event that affects something important in your life.
Many times this comes in the form of electricity – so it’s possible that you could face problems with computers, major appliances and possibly power outages due to significant storm activity in your area.
Be prepared. Don’t let your guard down when it comes to safety. In this case and in this particular reading, you should be extra careful when it comes to money, business, career and all material matters.
Whatever area of your life The Tower strikes, remember that you’ve got a lot on the line at this point and you could face a significant loss if you are careless.
Additionally, The Tower can mean that something electrical in nature that is in need of replacement will have to be done.
Material matters may run into some trouble when you see this card in a finances or career reading. What happens will come out of the blue and could shock you, but that does not mean that you are not in control. It could very well something that you yourself initiate that creates this significant change and that you wanted it to happen.
Either you or your partner could very well decide to split up at the drop of a hat. Perhaps you had an inkling of this – much like you can feel and smell a rainstorm before it happens, but can’t stop it from coming.
When The Tower happens, it does not necessarily mean that there’s nothing more in the relationship afterword, it just means that what was once thought to be rock solid has been torn down and now that there’s an empty lot so to speak a new building or kind of relationship can be constructed.
Just because you have bit hit by what feels like a lightening bolt it does not mean you can’t recover and in fact come back stronger and more secure than ever. Your finances can be all the better if make a radical change such as selling off assets to free up money to pay debts. Your romantic relationship can weather a storm if you want that to happen and you decide to brace yourself firmly instead of allowing your loveboat to sink.
In the end it’s all up to you – and the tarot only hints at what could happen if you stay on the present course and do nothing to change.
