Clean Eating Works For You
As a woman with Virgo rising and again in Jupiter in my first house of personality and character, I know this sign very well.
Virgos love all things clean, neat and organized. In fact I have become aware of my own tendency to feel ill in a messy environment. Plus, Virgo is ruled by the planet Mercury, which is a very energetic type of planet and tends to make a Virgo personality a bit jumpy. And so, when a Virgo is in a disorganized place she can become very tense and stress out.
For those reasons as a Virgo you should focus on clean eating, and that can also be taken literally. Making a fresh salad with fruit and lots of dark greens, topped with EVO and a sprinkling of salt and pepper, and then serving it on a lovely blue patterned plate will be automatically appealing to Virgo women.
In addition to keeping your eating space immaculate, you should also avoid foods that contain preservatives, artificial color or flavorings, or fillers of any kind.
Not The Typical Earth Sign
Earthy Virgo women are natural born lovers of great food, and all things luxurious and pleasurable for that matter. However, Virgo is a bit different than the other Earth signs.
First, it’s ruled by the planet Mercury, which governs the third house of communication, travel and education.
Second, it’s astrological house is number 6, and that brings in health, hygiene and day to day work habits.
Virgo women have a strong need to be productive in life, and to do things that matter to others. And with being naturally giving, they can sometimes ignore their own health and fall into bad habits.
You need to keep a close watch on what you eat, when and how much. Keeping a food journal should actually be fun for you as you have such a strong aptitude for writing.
Poultry should be high on your list of proteins, with beef, pork and lamb in your diet, but in lower quantities.
Vegetables that grow close to or beneath the ground should be excellent for your body. Choose carrots, lettuce, mushrooms, turnips, cabbage and squash as part of your usual diet.
Fruit should include lots of citrus, apples and pears. Opt for organically grown produce as much as you possibly can.
You may be a bit of a different Earthy Girl, but you do still love the sweets and no doubt rich foods and champagne, just like Taurus and Capricorn, your Earth sign relatives.
Virgos love all the things that are made to perfection – and you feel very comfortable ordering the best wine on the list or the most expensive entre at a Five Star restaurant.
Solving Weight Problems For Virgo Women
You may find that your body can tend to fill out more than what is healthy for you, which is something all the Earth signs must confront in life. But in your case, you can use your ability to chart, analyze, and stay with a structured program, to your advantage.
As part of your food journal, keep a special section just for notes. Write down the dates that you last had say, chocolate layer cake, and don’t allow yourself to splurge again for 45 or 60 days.
Planning your meals is also important for a Virgo. Try using a chalkboard in your kitchen and write out your meals for the week. Make your shopping list and stock your kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals that don’t take a huge amount of time but are packed with good nutrition.
With some smart approaches to your diet, as I suggested here, you should not have any trouble reaching and maintaining a happy and healthy body weight.
