Venus In Pisces

Sweetness to the max.

Pisces is the snuggly, cuddly, lets-stay-home-and-watch-a-movie sign, and when the planet of love, beauty and wealth moves in, there are lots of especially nice things that can happen.

Expect a softer response.

That surly man who barely grunts to customers from behind the counter at your coffee shop may just decide to smile and say “how are  you?” during the next few weeks, and the neighbor who complains that your dog tore up his tulips may surprise you with homemade cookies.  These are the kind of things that Venus in Pisces can bring about.  But, of course, it draws in more than just neighborly courtesy — it also draws in L-O-V-E.

Blast from the past.

Yes, Pisces rules the 12th house of what is hidden and long-held fears and emotions.  Thus, past lovers can be included with Pisces more than any other sign.

If there is someone in your past who has been teetering on the edge of reaching out to you, Venus in Pisces may just give them the boost they need to actually reach out and contact you.  It’s not a burst of confidence with Pisces, mind you, it’s a burst of faith, and an almost childlike kind of love.

This can also apply to you yourself.  During the next month, you may find that you are pining for the past, or at the very least, thoughts of someone who used to be special in your life may come back more than they usually do.

About Neptune.

Pisces is ruled by the planet Neptune, which is actually the higher octave of Venus, and so there is enormous potential for harmony and success in love, money matters and also changes to your personal appearance.

On the flip side, Neptune is the ruler of that 12th house I mentioned above, which is all about the hidden areas of life, including addictions.  This could mean that anyone who has had an alcohol/drug problem and is now living sober could get contacted from old friends who were your “drinking buddies” from back in the day.   Along the same line, former drug dealers could resurface and attempt to make you a customer again.

How to best use Venus in Pisces.

  • Be at your most thoughtful when it comes to those you love.
  • Grace your home with flowers, scented candles and toss big, snuggly pillows all over your sofa.
  • Get the skin and hair treatments you have been wanting for a long time, but were timid to admit you liked.
  • Consider an aquarium or just a small goldfish bowl in a room or office where you spend a lot of time.
  • Volunteer at a veteran’s hospital, home for the aged, or special needs facility.
  • Visit people and places you have loved all your life, but haven’t seen in some time.
  • Love like there’s no such thing as a broken heart.

Have an amazingly wonderful month, everyone!

I have my natal Venus in Pisces so I’m definitely a dreamer. I love glamor as well. I’m looking forward to the Sun moving into that sign.
